You need to draft your fantasy team before the season starts. Each league will operate based on the specific guidelines stipulated. Select players for each position as well as backups. You need to choose the best players although you will still have a chance for trades and pickups in the course of the season.
Choose your starting lineup every week based on the team in your leagues that you will be playing against. You need to consider the real life opponents your players will be facing every week to determine who needs to start. Most leagues have deadlines for when this needs to be completed weekly.
You are going to be scoring points based on the predetermined scoring system of your league. You are going to play against each other weekly and those with the most points win the game. At the end of the league season the top scoring league team will be the winner of the fantasy baseball.
Any person who is a fan of baseball should at least give fantasy baseball a try once to see if they like it. They can be a bit tedious for people who are not major fans of the sport, but at the end of the day you were going to have success as long as you make the adjustments necessary. No one is going to have any type of sympathy for you if you end up losing, but that is part of the fun. Everyone wants to win, but they also want to compete.
